Amazing sunsets for your dreamy golden hour session
This public beach is located in Pinellas county just north of St. Pete Beach on the west coast of Florida. It's great for romantic golden hour photos like the ones shown in this post.
Treasure Island Beach is a long stretch of soft sugar-like sand with patches of tall, grassy, sea oat dunes scattered throughout the area. The waves are normally calm, making it perfect for posing in ankle deep water without the fear of getting soaked or knocked over.
While this location offers really great scenery for your shots, keep in mind that it is a popular tourist destination, therefore, you will be working around other beachgoers. If you decide to shoot on a weekend afternoon, give yourself enough time to find parking by arriving a little bit early. The hourly parking rate is $3.75 an hour, and you can use your ParkMobile app. Normally, I try to park at the main beach access, in front of the public beach and snack bar.
